This sensitive piece stems back to my childhood growing up on a West of Scotland Housing Estate. The houses are reminiscent of the 1970’s pebble dashed scheme. I had many lovely days growing up in Scotland but aesthetically felt the drabness and greyness around me and the need to dream beyond my working-class circumstances.
