Gaia is life, she is the soul of the earth, the creator of all life. She is a goddess who inhabits the planet offering life and nourishment to all her children. She embodies maternal power the feminine. In greek mythology - before life on earth there was chaos and ethers waiting to take form. Gaia arrived to give structure to the formless and the Earth was conceived. She became Earth and birthed landscape, plants and all the inhabitants. She created the sky with whom she mated, she birthed countless offsprings. She is considered as the primeval mother of all gods and from whom life itself is descended.
