Head of a Red Kite in Pastel. Masterful bird of prey. Spirit animal with shamanic connections. All around where I live in Watership Down in Great Britain, I can hear and see these amazing birds. Their primordial cry seems to connect on a deep inner level. One of these spiritual birds appeared in a meditation and the ensuing flight with it was amazing. Artistically I wanted the viewer to feel the clarity and wisdom radiating out from the eye. Whilst painting this picture I had feelings of calmness, surety and determination.

All prints are shipped flat and in a waterproof sleeve with backing board to prevent any bending and/or water damage during shipment.
